What do you think of country music?

My question is pretty self-explainitory. I don't mean Honkey Tonk, I mean Country music about love and life. I listen to just about every genre of music from Rap to clical and It seems that country isn't to popular anymore. Most of my friends think its pardon the expression, but they think its gay. So I want to know if a majority of people feel the same way I do about it. I think its beautiful, and it touches my heart to hear a good love song.
