Budgie has converted to fruit flavored Zupreme pellets, can I now use regular pellets?

Would like people who have gone through the pellet conversion process to chime in. I used the fruit flavored pellets for canaries/finches because they are small and my budgie eats them. Can I know feed them regular pellets, or does size matter here?
