What really happened may never be revealed, it could be buried so thoroughly that the truth may never be known. Then of course there are just the people that want to be contrary to anything. People that insult someone for asking a question are individuals that have no audience so they publicly insult people that have a question they would like answered whether for homework or just being curious. Finally, the idea that Neil Armstrong's moon-landing was staged on some sound stage in Area 51 is probably ogous to all the other fringe elements.
