I have a problem with anxiety ( I do take a mild medication for it); I am afraid to be alone all the time.?

My husband works outof town and stays at a hotel during the week. Most of my neighbors that I knew have moved or been forclosed on. There was a drug bust less than one mile away, also Chris Benoit the wrestler live less than a mile, the houses are foreclosing here, the store less than a mile away was robbed. I have fibromyalgia and have applied for disability. I just get so mshook up at night by myself sometimes. I have one nice single male neighbor, but am embared to be "babysat" or go up to his door. What do I do?
